What a great day at 200degs on their Barista course
We have learnt the ART of coffee making from the experts and the slogan ‘practice makes perfect’ has never be as true
Firstly there is the espresso where it quickly becomes apparent that there is a lot more to know than you expect, with grinding, pucks, temperatures, extract amounts..... and more
Then you come to milk preparation and realise that it is mostly performed by listening to the sound it makes
But the guys at 200degs were fantastic and we had a few hours to brew our way through lots of coffee beans and plenty of milk
Now at the end of the course we are literally buzzing from the course and of course far too much coffee
So it now to carry on and practice so that we can serve our customers the perfect coffee
