Padstow Christmas Market

We had a wonderful windy day at the Padstow Christmas Market today and saw a number of the famous chefs including Paul Ainsworth and Rick Stein. A great demonstration was given by John Walton from Number 6 in Padstow, he had a few people cringing when he prepared a fresh lobster but this was soon forgotten when he presented the final dish - Yummy 😋
Checked out a number of suppliers of local cheese including an amazing Camembert and a cheese prepared in beer. Sampled lots of alcoholic offering and found a few new favourites - Sea Fury by Sharps Brewery in Rock was one highlight. Festivals like this are a great opportunity to enjoying lots of free samples and came home with a Xmas pudding, knitted bobble hats and lots of cheese, We did manage to hand out our business cards so hope we’ll get a few new contacts and suppliers over the next few weeks. Cornwall has some amazing quality food products.
There is not only great food but also great music and so it’s a great festival for all and you can easily spend a whole day there. Plus it’s free to enter so all in all a fab day was had by all. It comes highly reccomended.
